This new program of El Minuto de Dios Corporation has as a goal to gather groups of people that jointly on a monthly basis donate US$700 until reaching US$8,400 in one year. El Minuto de Dios contributes an equivalent amount, this way, is able to give a home to a low income family in Colombia.
The goal is to gather at least 52 groups of builders and this way, on a weekly basis, give a home in behalf of the United States and Canada benefactors.
DESCRIPTION
Each group of builders will be led by a Construction Manager, whose primary task is to keep the group active and assuring that arranged amount is reached monthly.
The number of people in each group will depend on the financial contribution possibility of its members:
- In a group of 12 Builders, each member will contribute US $50 monthly for one year.
- In a group of 5 Builders, each member will contribute US $120 monthly for one year.
The goal is to reach US $700 per month.
Some groups already formed are organizing donation campaigns such as bazaars and raffles, which not only help keep together but allow them to reach the goal sooner.
“The builders of a New Colombia” will enjoy, among others, the following benefits:
- To be considered an El Minuto de Dios benefactor and be part of the daily prayers for friends and benefactors of our social works.
- To receive an El Minuto de Dios cross, it can be carry in your jacket’s lapel, crediting you as a Builder of a New Colombia.
- To be recognize in El Minuto de Dios Corporation publications and at the Web page. Unless, you prefer absolute discretion regarding your contributions.
- To choose the family you want to support within the pre-selected ones by El Minuto de Dios Corporation Social Management in Colombia.
- To periodically receive information on the family progress and achievements of the intervention carried out by the social workers group.
- To annually receive your contribution financial report, it can be use for your annual income tax report.
- In the event of visiting Bogotá, you will be able to go in a guided visit through the different entities of El Minuto de Dios Organization, to know our Integral Development model, to have access to specific information on projects of interest and to visit the benefitted family.
