Father Rafael García-Herreros used wisely television as a means of communication in order to spread the word of the Gospel and awaken the social conscious of the people thus acquiring a strong support from the affluent sector of the population. This is how, since the 10th of January 1955, the TV program "El Minuto de Dios" has been televised uninterrupted on national TV.
