Since being founded, El Minuto de Dios has worked towards reaching those that most need education. As a result, there has been a number of growing projects that have helped to benefit children, teenagers and adults.
Father Rafael García-Herreros dedicated his life in order to educate Colombians: first of all as a tutor to other priests, furthermore, as an educator who is loved by all Colombians, from his preaching's on the radio and television and finally as the founder of a number of educational establishments.

The objective of EL MINUTO DE DIOS is to take quality and reliable education to Colombia 's most distant regions, thus currently holding 13 branches nationally, in which development programs adapt to the needs of that region. In the same way, UNIMINUTO assists with a percentage of tuition costs, which is assigned according to the region in which its programs are held.
Non-Formal Education: (Job training and further education)
Colombia is living a social reality where unemployment dominates, the cause of this phenomenon is that the working population hold very few qualifications. This is why EL MINUTO DE DIOS has developed programs that help with acquiring the necessary tools and knowledge to enter the job market, in order to improve their quality of life. The duration of these courses varies from one month to a year.
