Since El Minuto de Dios was founded its main goal has been to promote a way of life and self-improvement of its beneficiaries. This is why El Minuto de Dios has developed various job training programs throughout the country.
ProgramsManufacturing
Integral formation within the manufacturing industry for people aged between 18 and 25, also for single mothers and vulnerable communities.
Management activity for low-income women
The program has two objectives: The first one is to generate work opportunities at home for for women who are the head family and perceive low income. The second is to strengthen the capacity of the beneficiaries marketing.
Entrepreneurship Center
The Center fosters the development of an entrepreneurial culture from a human, technical and managerial perspective, in order to create businesses as well as entrepreneurs who are socially conscious. The Center develops specific projects linking business with the University´s faculties.

2. Social Investment
El Minuto de Dios assists with funding programs to vulnerable communities with the aim of improving their quality of life, as these communities find it difficult to have access to bank loans.
Programs
Small-Businesses Program
Since 1994 this program has offered financial services to small businesses, with services regarding institutional efficiency and financial sustainability. Currently, this program grants loans to small businesses with at least one years experience.
COOP-UNIMINUTO
In 2001, through UNIMINUTO the cooperative was created with the aim of giving teenagers access to higher education, through low grants. Our services include short-term educational grants with low investment rates. These services have now been extended to other companies and employees.
